  9. -x    display a list of files and directories where net expects to
  10.       find things.
  11.  
  12. startup_file  Where net.rc is, and what it is called.
  13.      Use \ in paths.  Must be on the same disk that net is started from.
  14.      use \dir  instead of c:\dir
  15.

  17. Additional option for Telnet.
  18.  
  19. You cna specify a service abbreviation instead of a service number
  20. when telnetting
  21.  
  22. eg:
  23. telnet demon.co.uk  25    
  24. telnet demon.co.uk  smtp  
  25.  
  26. This is handy for when you cannot remember the service number.
  27.  
  28. Common service codes:
  29.  
  30. 7  echo
  31. 13 daytime
  32. 21 ftp
  33. 23 telnet
  34. 25 smtp
  35. 79 finger
  36. 119 NNTP
  37.  
  38. There are numerous others - see RFCs.  Most services are not very
  39. sensible when used thru' telnet.
  40.  
  41. NNTP, probably the most useful, has not been included in the current 
  42. version of net.  You'll have to use  telnet news.demon.co.uk 119.  Sorry !
